About the Drayton Valley Horse Club

Who are we?

We are a volunteer horse club that is run by dedicated individuals and relies heavily on generous donations to maintain and grow the lovely horse riding trails that many have come to know and love, as well as to support our equestrian events.

History

The club was officially established in 1991, marking this year as our 34th anniversary as a volunteer horse club. In 1992, we began construction of our horse riding trails, which means they are now 33 years old. Over the past 33 years, we have proudly hosted the annual “Ride Against Cancer,” with the exception of the two years when Covid prevented us from holding our beloved equestrian events.
